I nvestigative journalism is not encouraged here in Nigeria for several reasons ranging from corrupt society to apathy for the truth by those in authority, I cant imagine walking up to Police chief requesting information;I can bet I’ll be thrown out of his office! So please we need encouragements and trainings on how to change this attitude in our societies. I’ll love to do investigative jouralism to expose the filth in our systems here in Nigeria.

  8. In Cameroon, the picture is very bleak.
    Many newspaper journalsits have been arrested, detained and finally killed in p[rison for attempting to investigate why general managers of state cooperations and those at such spend more than fifteen years in office. The latest case of BIBI Ngota who was investigating into how oil money in Cameroo is sued to the benefit of the common man was killed in prison.
    We risk our lives in this venture.
